Hey all 👋
It’s been a while!
After our last sale event before the summer break, a lot happened over here!
We pivoted our Build to Exit Challenge to Sprints.so
We turned our bootcamp in a No-Code x AI program and migrated it to Maven
I bought a house, which needs a lot of renovation 🎉🏠
Great stuff, but…
all together, this means I can’t give No-Code Sale the attention it deserves, even though it was so much fun and has a lot of potential.
That’s why I decided to look out for someone else to take over No-Code Sale 👀
Perhaps you?!
No-Code Sale is listed on Tiny Acquisitions, where I previously also sold Build to Sell.
update: No-Code sale is now also listed on Microns.io
Acquire and grow No-Code Sale
The advantage of taking over No-Code products is that it’s easy to transfer and maintain these products.
That explains the rise of No-Code products on M&A marketplaces, as noticed by Acquire.com (can you spot the backlink? 😉), and of course this also applies to nocodesale.com itself:
After you buy this, you can immediately focus on growing it and monetization 🚀
Here’s what you’ll get:
Website (built with Softr and Airtable)
Domain (nocodesale.com)
Brand assets, including video intro and outro’s
Substack account with ~ 500 subscribers, of which ~ 280 visited one or more live sale events
Ready for the next chapter
A short recap of the journey so far:
No-Code Sale started as an experiment in January, with a No-Code Garage Sale: a live sale event where busy No-Code makers could sell their old builds. Selling at a bargain, this was a big opportunity for growth people and proved to be very popular.
Based on the positive feedback from visitors, this turned into a monthly sale event. In addition to that all No-Code products for sale were listed on nocodesale.com, connecting makers and potential buyers.
Among the sellers who joined were well known makers like Kieran Ball (@nocodelife), Louis Pereira (@louispereira), Lee Launches (@LeeLaunches), Doc Williams (@_docwilliams), Katt Risen (@kattrisen) and many more.
Seeing the results coming in, makers started building new products with the sole purpose to sell, which proved to be an attractive new business model for makers who love building but don’t fancy marketing and sales. To facilitate this, No-Code Sale partnered with 100 Days of No Code, No Code Weekend and Half Day Build, who also saw the added value for their participants.
On top of this we started to experiment with our own Build to Sell challenge. 80% of the products listed for sale by the end of the challenge actually got sold. Turning this challenge into a community together with Katt Risen (No-Code Exits Club) a lot of makers showed interested in this. Although we decided to pivot our own community, this definitely could be an interesting path to monetization for you as well.
After the summer break other things got in my way. But with 25 products being sold via No-Code Sale, I’m confident to say that this marketplace is validated and has a lot of potential. No-Code Sale is ready for the next steps with you.
I can’t wait to follow how you grow it further 🚀
Grow and monetize
Of course the next steps are up to you! But here are a few suggestions to grow and monetize No-Code Sale:
Grow the directory by scraping the internet to feature all No-Code products listed for sale.
Double down on content, by featuring the stories of the makers and sellers
Take a cut of the sales. So far I didn’t want to do this, but a lot of sellers asked about this after they succesfully sold their product.
Start a community for buyers and/or makers
Or perhaps you could even pivot from acquisitions to helping makers with actual sales (selling items of their products, memberships etc). If you’re quick, you could even kick this off before Black Friday 🔥
Lot’s of ideas and of course I’m happy to think along with you if that helps 🙂
But first things first.. 👇
